Introduction

In today’s fast-paced world, the traditional 9-to-5 workday is becoming a relic of the past. More and more people are seeking employment that fits their lifestyle, not vice versa. If you’re one of those individuals dreaming of the freedom to work when and where you want, without the restrictions of a degree, you’ve come to the right place.

Our guide, ’12 Remote Jobs You Can Do On Your Own Time,’ reveals a curated list of flexible job opportunities that promise a paycheck and the liberty to design your schedule. Whether you’re an early bird or a night owl, these roles offer the freedom to work at a pace that suits you, ensuring that your professional efforts never clash with your commitments.

1- Podcast Virtual Assistant

The number one remote job on the list will be a podcast virtual assistant. Being a podcast virtual assistant is almost like having a backstage pass to the world of podcasting. You will handle everything from researching topics to creating audiograms and managing the podcast’s social media accounts. Companies in the podcasting sphere are always looking for these digital magicians.

Here are some opportunities you can check them out.

  • e5280sports.com, apply via Indeed
  • Check out Upwork

So, if you listen to podcasts all the time, you probably have a sixth sense of what makes a good or bad podcast. He helped one of my former students, Marty, get into a position like this because he was passionate about podcasts. No, he’s actually in a hire-level position where he’s running the entire show.

Virtual assistants generally make about $41,000 to $68,000 a year. So, this is a pretty well-compensated position, considering you don’t need a college degree or previous experience to get into it. If you do a good job, there are lots of jobs down the line that can pay much better than that. I mean, think about it.

People like Joe Rogan are making $100 million a year. So, if you can provide value to a podcast and help grow it quickly, you can get a piece of that pie as well, and I think it applies to just content creation in general. So, overall, I’ll give this one a 9 out of 10 opportunity score.

2- Online Ads Acessor

The following remote job will be an online ads assessor, and this is where you turn your internet addiction into a paycheck. This person fine-tunes online ads for a better overall viewer experience in online advertising companies. Usually, search engine or social media-based companies search for online ad assessors to ensure that ads on their platforms are high quality just because an ad makes them a lot of money.

Best Remote Jobs

That doesn’t necessarily mean it’s the best thing for the brand. So big online companies are cautious about what types of ads they allow on their platform, and internet ads assessors make about $50,000 to $84,000 a year.

Here are some opportunities you can check out.

But this is another perfect one. It’s excellent. If you spend a lot of time on the internet, browsing YouTube or other search engines or social media platforms. I will give this one an 8 out of 10 opportunity score.

3- Weekend Freight Tracking

The following remote job is fascinating and will involve weekend freight tracking. This remote job is relatively easy to get, especially if you’re willing to work on weekends, and their job is to make sure the deliveries get to where they’re supposed to arrive on time, especially over the weekend. There’s also a lot more opportunity for this type of role. Suppose you are willing to work at night.

Freight tracking roles generally cost about $43,000 to $66,000 a year. So this is good, especially considering it’s an entry-level role that doesn’t require a college degree or previous experience.

Here are some opportunities you can check them out.

  • Farze Holdings, apply via Glassdoor
  • Nolan Transportation Group, apply via Talent.com.

So, this is another excellent one. I will give it an opportunity score of 7.5 out of 10. There’s still a ton of opportunity regarding logistics or shipping and anything that involves getting things from point A to point B.

4- Corporate Travel Agent

The following remote job will be a corporate travel agent, and this is someone who specializes in arranging complex travel plans for corporate employees. In many cases, you’ll be working with executives or high-level management, or in some cases, you’ll be working with people from other companies or clients. Your job is to ensure that they have a seamless travel experience.

So this involves setting up flights, of course, making sure that their hotels are booked but also making sure that they have transportation once they’re on the ground, and extra points if you ensure they have a good experience in the city. Corporate travel agents typically make about $47,000 to $73,000 a year. Again, that’s good. It doesn’t require a college degree or previous experience because it’s entry-level.

Here are some opportunities you can check them out.

  • AAA Club Alliance, apply via The Muse
  • World Travel Service, apply via Glassdoor

So, overall, this is a good one. I’ll give it a 7.5 out of 10 opportunity score.

By the way, sometimes I get comments down below that, you know, they look up the job posting, and it says that they require experience. This is something that I cover in articles where I wrote about how to land an actual job. Many job postings say this, but it’s more of a recommendation, and you should still apply anyway.

5- Influence Relationship Coordinator

The following remote jobs on the list will appear in the last five to ten years. That’s going to be an influencer relationship coordinator. I’m sure everyone reading this article has seen that most YouTube channels have sponsors. But how exactly did the channel get that sponsorship in the first place? Then, coordinate with the brand to make the video.

Well, that’s where the influencer relations coordinator comes in. They are the ones who collaborate with the influencer to make sure that they create a great sponsorship. By the way, it’s estimated that 49% of consumers rely on influencer recommendations when purchasing. This is one of the highest ROIs or returns on investment types of marketing.

Of course, I think everyone knows that digital marketing is the most effective form of market. But back to the influencer relations coordinator. They make about $46,000 to $68,000 a year.

Here are some opportunities you can check them out.

  • Ravella, apply via Indeed
  • Manifesting Serenity, apply via Indeed

Again, it’s relatively easy to get into overall. I’ll give this one an opportunity score of 9 out of 10.

6- Virtual Event Coordinator

The following remote job is going to be a virtual event coordinator. This remote job has become extremely popular in the last three to four years for obvious reasons, such as because there have been no events outside of virtual events for about two years. So, we had the most significant virtual events in human history.

For instance, concerts with millions of online viewers and event hosts make about $44,000 to $75,000 a year. This remote job probably sounds pretty straightforward, but there’s more to it than you’d think. You must ensure that whatever your event is hosted can handle it. The number of people that are going to be in it, everyone’s on the same page about exactly when and where the event will be.

That’s a lot easier said than done. But this is another one that has a ton of opportunity. It’s an entirely new career. So there are lots of accessible opportunities to get in. It doesn’t require a college degree or previous experience or anything like that.

Here are some opportunities you can check them out.

  • Navigate New Horizons, apply via Indeed
  • Yaymaker, apply via ZipRecruiter

So, I’ll give this one an 8 out of 10 opportunity score.

By the way, comment below on your favourite job in this article. Of course, I will monitor the comments and write more articles about that type of job in future uploads.

7- Remote Executive Account Rep

The following remote job is going to be a remote executive account rep. Now, this is the first one on the list that is not going to be an entry-level job because you’re going to be working for the sales part of a company, and you’re going to be handling large accounts. By accounts, I mean contracts worth hundreds of thousands or even millions of dollars.

Remote Jobs

So they’re typically not going to put newbies in charge of this. You’re going to be the middleman between a company and the company’s large client now. You would typically be working for what is known as a B2B company, which means business to business. So you would be working with other companies.

So, this is a big deal because you will be like the face of the company. You represent brand and remote account executives who earn $73,000 to $132,000 a year. So, you can make a ton of money doing this. Account executives make over $500,000 annually if you’re in the right industry.

So, to become an account executive, you need to have some sales experience first. But I’ve seen people become account executives within one to two years after starting their sales job.

Here are some opportunities you can check them out.

  • Orbit Metrics, apply via Linkedin
  • CorPartners, apply via Indeed.

So overall, I will give this one an opportunity score of 9.5 out of 10.

8- Content Specialist

The following remote job is going to be a content specialist. This relatively new remote job has emerged in the last five to ten years. When it comes to these new jobs, it’s usually much more accessible to land them even without experience or a college degree. So, maybe you’re working for a big brand or a big company.

You would be in charge of their YouTube channel or their Instagram, and you would be in charge of making content for those. I really can’t emphasize how vital making content is. It used to be that everyone would spend money on paid ads, but it’s becoming more and more challenging to be profitable with just paid ads alone.

So companies are turning increasingly to making content and away from the whole making money thing. Making content, in general, is pretty cool. So this one is the best if you spend a lot of time consuming a particular type of content.

So, for instance, if you spend a lot of time on YouTube, that would be good for you to aim for if you spend a lot of time on Twitter, the same thing. Content specialists make $48,000 to $74,000 a year.

Here are some opportunities you can check them out.

  • Appraising Pages LLC, apply via ZipRecruiter.
  • Check out Upwork

So overall, I will give this one an opportunity score of 9.5 out of 10.

9- Digital Marketing Coordinator

The following remote job is going to be a digital marketing coordinator. So basically, you will be like a digital marketing campaign architect. You will strategize, execute, and optimize marketing efforts across various platforms. For instance, you might have watched an ad on YouTube, liked it for some reason, and watched all of it.

Then, you log in to Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter and see the same company advertising. A digital marketing coordinator probably set that up. Another thing that digital marketing coordinators might do is send specific emails to people. Who’s already bought a particular product?

For instance, if you like to shop at a specific online store for clothes and have purchased certain types of shoes at that online store in the past, then they have a big sale for shoes. They’ll probably send you that email because you’re much more likely to purchase it. After all, you bought that kind of thing in the past. Digital marketing coordinators make about $47,000 to $69,000 a year.

Here are some opportunities you can check them out.

  • League One Volleyball, apply via Indeed.
  • The Christian Broadcasting Network, apply via Indeed.

So, I will give this one an opportunity score of 8.5 out of 10.

10- Chat Support Associate

The following remote job is going to be a Chat Support Associate. More and more consumers are tired of calling customer support and expecting companies to have chat support. Chat support is one of the most popular ways of getting customer support, and they estimate that 51% of consumers say that they would buy again from a company if they had chat support.

You Can Do On Your Own Time

It makes sense because, typically, it’s much faster to get an answer from somebody if you type them in a chat. Chat support associate makes $34,000 to $57,000 a year. So I’m not going to lie to you. This is probably not the most glorious remote job out there. It’s still a customer service job at the end of the day, but you don’t have to talk to rude people on the phone. You have to type to them.

Here are some opportunities you can check them out.

  • Matrix Recruiters, apply via Indeed.
  • Check out Upwork

So, I will give this one an opportunity score of 7 out of 10.

11- Remote Review Writer

The following remote job is as a remote review writer. This is a position where you write reviews on different products or services. Now, many opportunities exist because people often go to review sites before buying something.

For instance, if you’ve ever purchased a car, you probably looked up 20 different review sites, and the salary is excellent, according to the Glassdoor salary. They typically make about $25 to $35 an hour.

Here are some opportunities you can check them out.

  • Check Out Upwork

So, I will give this one an opportunity score of 7.5 out of 10.

By the way, if you think of anybody who could get value from a super research article like this, share it with them. So, if you have a friend, family member, or someone who needs to get a job, go ahead and share this article with them.

12- E-Commerce Specialist

The following remote job is an e-commerce specialist helping companies sell physical products online. This is a highly profitable industry. Now, e-commerce companies will typically use a software called Clavio for their online, digital marketing, and email marketing.

Super-specialized software sends the exact message to the correct type of person interested in buying the product. But there’s a lot more to it than that. You know, e-commerce is just kind of a beast, and being an e-commerce specialist can help you get a job.

Of course, this would be good for someone who likes to always shop for physical products online. In this role, e-commerce specialists make about $47,000 to $74,000 a year.

Here are some opportunities you can check them out.

  • Silicon Valley Commerce LLC, apply via Indeed.
  • Tradeful, apply via Indeed.

So, I will give this one an opportunity score of 8 out of 10.
