Introduction

This article will discuss the ten best side hustle for everyone. I used to work as a pharmacist. I was working as a pharmacist during the pandemic, which, as you can imagine, was exceptionally busy and highly stressful. I did not have much time and started a side hustle during the pandemic, making me over 300K per month. So, I’m going to talk about some of the side hustles that I think are the best and what you should potentially start yourself, and we’re going to get into it right now.

1- Selling Worm Poop

So, the first best side hustle from the list will be hilarious, but I always like to start with these funny ones. That is going to be selling worm poop. Yes, you read that right, selling worm poop. What you do here is you buy a bunch of earthworms, you set up a terrarium for them, basically like an earthworm farm, and then you collect their poop. You sell it to gardeners, farmers, and hortical enthusiasts. These are specifically people who value organic growing processes.

In the world, in warm poop, generally speaking, cells for about three dollars a pound. So, this is a very passive way of making money. You can make some extra money doing this. You could even turn it into a full-blown operation. So, I thought this one was funny. You can make money with it. It’s probably going to be pretty hard to make, you know, a significant amount of money. But I’m going to go ahead and give this one a 6 out of 10 opportunity score.

2- Niche Tutoring

The next best side hustle is going to be niche tutoring. So if you’re time-poor for that, it probably means you’re working hard. There’s a good chance you’re also doing a good job, which means you could likely tutor people on particular subjects. So, let’s suppose you were a pharmacist like me; for instance, you could tutor people in the pharmacy college, admissions, tests, or the PCAT. That’s precisely what I did in college: I made over a hundred dollars per hour.

Best Side Hustle For Everyone

Realistically, not many people out there ask for my services, so I’d only tutor people a few times a month. But that was still a significant amount of money every month, especially considering that I was a college kit, and this is precisely what you can do as well. You can tutor people on something precious, and they will pay you a good amount. So, I’m going to go ahead and give this one a 9 out of 10 opportunity score.

3- Career Coaching

Something very similar to this would be career coaching. So this is, again, if you’re in a promising career or even just in an entry-level job. Still, it’s one that many people want to get into. You can offer this, and basically, you tutor people on the quickest and easiest way to get into that career themselves. So imagine if you were to go back to when you just discovered that career and could tell yourself exactly how to get into it. You probably would have saved yourself time, effort, and money.

Well, you can also do that for other people, and they can pay you hundreds of dollars an hour in many cases. So, that’s another excellent one. If you are time-poor. So I’m going to go ahead and give that one a 9 out of 10 opportunity score as well.

4- Making Resumes

Another similar one is making resumes; again, you want to be very specific about this. You want to help people make related resumes. Your career, and because you’re in the job, you’re going to have a much better idea of what looks good and doesn’t look good on a resume, and then you can either create the resumes for them or coach them on how to do the resumes themselves. Again, you can charge hundreds of dollars per resume, and they do most of the work for you, and then you can make some changes in the end.

I know people who have started seven-figure businesses by doing this. So this is a legitimate business that you can start, but you can also make some extra money. So this one gets a 9.5 out of 10 opportunity score.

5- Youtube Channel

Now, the next best side hustle is starting a YouTube channel. So, YouTube is, in my opinion, the best social media platform on which to make money. It doesn’t take that long to make YouTube videos. You have to either share what you already know. So, your expertise that you already know, or if you’re not an expert on anything, you can share your journey of becoming an expert on something. People love following along to those channels that share what they’re learning. It doesn’t take that long to do that.

The potential rewards are massive, maybe just a few hours a week. So, nearly 500 people in the United States work full-time on YouTube, an enormous number of people. That’s almost the same number of people as an entire country, and if you take that globally, it is more significant than some countries, and these are people making a full-time income from YouTube.

So you can divide a few hours a week to do this, and a year later, who knows what will happen? You might be making a full-time income from YouTube as well. So, YouTube gets a perfect 10 out of 10. I love it.

6- Selling Unused Stuff

The next best side hustle is selling unused stuff, so you could sell your stuff lying around your house or in storage and make a good amount of money from it. Many people who do this make thousands and thousands of dollars and then have a lot of stuff lying around that they’re never going to use, which is just going to collect dust.

Best Side Hustle

So you might as well sell it and make it helpful to others. So, this is obvious, but I can’t tell you how many people could do this. I’m going to go ahead and give this one a 7 out of 10 opportunity score.

7- Flipping Items

Another best side hustle is you can flip items. So, if you’re familiar with specific items, let’s use couches and, for example, furniture. You can look at a sofa or a piece of furniture and, you know, approximately how much it costs because you’re familiar with the market. You can easily buy and sell these things and make a lot of money. There are people out there who flip furniture. They make hundreds and hundreds of thousands of dollars a year.

Couch flipping, for instance, is enormous in the US because people will buy these new couches for $5,000 or $10,000, and then a few years later, it gets a little dirty, and, you know, they throw it away or sell it for basically nothing. You can go in and clean it up a little bit. Post it online and then sell it for 50% of what they originally bought it for. It’s incredibly lucrative, and flipping, in general, is highly lucrative. I’ve been doing this since I was a teenager.

It’s one of the oldest and best side hustles known to man, and it was good back then. It’s always going to be good. It just takes a lot of patience. For instance, you could buy a car. If you’re familiar with the prices of vehicles, you know you’re getting a good deal. Let’s say you buy it for two thousand dollars and then sell it a few months later for $3,500. Then it just sat there, and you didn’t have to do any work. So, flipping is the best side hustle. I will give this one a 9 out of 10 opportunity score.

8- Renting Out Your Car

The next best side hustle is renting out your car, so you can do this using an app like Turo if your vehicle is sitting there while you’re at work or over the weekend. You’re barely even using it, or if you have multiple cars and don’t even use one, you might as well rent it out and make some money.

You can make between $50 and $100 per day in many cities, and Turo claims that the average annual income is generated from renting out. One car is usually $10,516. So yeah, this is another perfect one. I’ll give it a 7.5 out of 10 opportunity score.

9- Renting Out Unused Space Or Household Items

The next best side hustle is renting unused space, household appliances, or tools. You can do this using neighbor.com, and there are other websites out there, such as rentmy.com, rentmyequipment.com, and yoodlize.com. You can do the same stuff. You can rent your stuff out and rent your unused space. Let’s say you have a bunch of space in your basement.

10 Best Side Hustle

It’s not being used, and storage is costly, so people in your area can store their stuff there and save a little bit of money versus a traditional storage space, and since you’re not using the space anyway, you might as well run it out. It’s the same with tools, appliances, or random stuff around your garage.

You can rent that stuff out while you’re not using it. This doesn’t take much time or money but can be an excellent passive or semi-passive income source. So, I’m going to go ahead and give this one a 9 out of 10 opportunity score.

10- Real Estate

The next best side hustle is going to be real estate. So this is one of the oldest ways people have made money for the last hundred years. You buy a property, and a lot of the time, you’ll get a mortgage on it, and you pay 5% to 20% down and then rent it out to people. This is an excellent way to make cash flow, create crew equity, and save money on taxes.

So this is another best side hustle. Many blogs talk about how to do real estate, but obviously, it’s a good one. I’m going to go ahead and give it a 9 out of 10 opportunity score.
