Introduction

So this article is about the 19 best remote jobs you can land. Some of these will be easy to land in the first place. Others are going to be accessible when you land the job. Then, some of them are going to be both. So a lot of these are going to be easier. No boss, no interview, no resume.

In some cases, you can set your hours or have flexible hours. Most of them do not require a college degree or any previous experience. So, if you appreciate me writing this kind of article, let me know by gently writing a comment below in the comment section, and let’s jump into it right now.

1- Remote Honeymoon Specialist

The first remote job on the list will be a remote honeymoon specialist, and this is a position where you’ll craft unforgettable romantic experiences for people who just got married. You will do this by collaborating with various vendors and organizing travel arrangements. So you’ll be a specialized travel agent, and that’s even better. If you further specialize in certain areas. You have your niche.

19 Best Remote Jobs That Don't Require a Degree

I know someone who explained how they succeeded in this position. They said they narrowed their specialties to Tahiti, Fiji, Mexico, Hawaii, and the Caribbean. They said they knew every restaurant, every hotel, and every excursion in those areas related to a romantic vacation. Would this be so valuable for someone? It takes a ton of work to plan this type of thing out.

I found one open remote job posting where they had a salary of $70,000 to $129,000 a year. So, as usual, as the old saying goes, the riches are in the niches, and if you specialize enough, you can make a ton of money doing this.

So, here are some job opportunities.

  • Virtual Oasis Co., apply via Salary
  • Happy Vibes Travel, apply via Linkedin

I will give this one a 9 out of 10 opportunity score

2- Remote Case Reviewer

The following remote job is going to be a remote case reviewer. You will analyze and evaluate different claims or cases from the comfort of your home. These experts are sought after by healthcare organizations, insurance companies, and legal firms. You’re like a detective sifting through information to uncover the truth. Case reviewers make between $42,000 and $71,000 a year; it is entry-level. It’s relatively easy to get into. You have to pay attention to organizational skills and basic computer literacy.

So, here are some job opportunities.

  •  ISN Corp, apply via Linkedin
  • Maximus, apply via Glassdoor
  • Talent Team, apply via Glassdoor

Overall, this one’s relatively easy to get into. You don’t have to have a college degree, and it’s relatively easy. I will give this one an opportunity score of 8 out of 10.

3- Product Researcher

The following remote job will be a product researcher; these are the behind-the-scenes heroes. They use data to shape products that align with consumer desire and market trends. This position is pivotal in various sectors, such as tech, consumer goods, and marketing firms. Many companies, including private companies that sell on Amazon and Shopify, hire product researchers. Product researchers make between $73,000 and $124,000 a year with zero requirements.

A keen eye for detail, analytical thinking, and creativity would be best. So think about it like this. Let’s say you get a job working for an Amazon store, and this Amazon store makes 10 million dollars a year and sells ten different products. So each product makes about a million dollars a year if you can find them, even one more product that fits with their brand and identity and is suitable for their customers, something their customers want.

That’s probably going to bring them an extra million dollars a year. So clearly, it’s worth it for them to hire someone full-time for a position like this. Because even if you find them like one product, you’ll pay for your position every ten years. So yeah, this one is perfect. It’s relatively easy. If you’re good at shopping, and you like shopping all the time, this one might be an excellent option.

So, here are some job opportunities.

  •  Checkout on Upwork
  • Data Nomad, apply via Linkedin

I will give this one an opportunity score of 9 out of 10.

4- Digital Experience Specialist

The following remote job is going to be a digital experience specialist. This is another one where it could be an excellent option if you love to shop online. You specialize in improving and managing the digital interface between a company and its customers. There’s a quote from someone famous: being human in the digital world is about building a digital world for humans. That’s a quote by Andrew Keane, and it’s very keen.

So, believe it or not, you don’t need to have any programming experience with this, but it does help if you have a little bit just because it’ll be easier for you to talk with the programmers on the team. But this one is more focused on just the digital experience in general.

In this position, you make about $50,000 To $77,000 a year. So yeah, this is another perfect one; there are a lot of opportunities out there that are not difficult. Many tech-related jobs are complex, but once you get into them, you learn the skills necessary to land the job. They’re relatively easy.

So, here are some job opportunities.

  • Pilmico Foods Corporation, apply via Learn4good
  • System One, apply via LinkedIn

This is one of those tech-related jobs. It’s actually kind of easy to get into as well. So, for that reason, I will give it an 8.5 out of 10 opportunity score.

5- Event Promoter

The following remote job will be an event promoter, precisely what it sounds like you will promote events. Now, sometimes these will be events in the real world, and sometimes they might be online events, and it’s not as easy as it sounds, right? You have to coordinate with the business itself, you have to coordinate with the business’s customers, and you’re going to have to coordinate with whatever vendors you’re going to be using at the event if it’s a live event.

remote jobs

So, here are some job opportunities.

You could expect to earn about $37,000 to $67,000 yearly and get paid between 45,000 and 70,000 dollars annually. So, it’s not too hard to get into this one. However, this one will be one of the harder ones on the list. Still, there will probably be long periods where you’re not promoting any event because you don’t have any events coming up, so there will be a good amount of downtime there. So overall, I’ll give this one a 7 out of 10 opportunity score, considering it’s a little more complex than others on the list.

6- Night or Weekend Blogger

The following remote job on the list could start as a job and become a business. That’s going to be a night or weekend blogger. So, you’re turning off hours into a hot spot for content creation. So, a lot of the time, big news out in the world will happen in the middle of the night, or it might happen on the weekend as a night or weekend blogger. That is where you would have a chance to shy. So, this one requires writing and SEO skills, and SEO is a search engine optimization.

So, you have to write in such a way that the search engine understands what you’re writing about. Some tools make this easy, such as Surfer SEO, which my team and I use on our blog. So yeah, this one isn’t all that hard to get into, and again, the riches are in the niches. So it’s essential. You write about a niche you know a lot about, where you will have the best output.

So, here are some job opportunities.

  • The Cut, apply via LinkedIn
  • Check out Upwork

So, overall, this one’s a little harder to get into. So, I’ll give it an opportunity score of 7.5 out of 10.

7- Remote Grant Writer

The following remote job is going to be a remote grant writer. Grant writing is something that I used to do myself, and this is basically where you’re the architect of funding success. So, you will be crafting proposals that transform ideas into financial support. For example, you might be working for a non-profit, and you write a grant proposal to a big company.

You tell them why you need the money, and then they’re incentivized to do that because they can save money on taxes, and it’s just a good thing to do in general. Grant writers generally make about $50,000 to $78,000 a year. Learning how to do it is relatively easy. You don’t have to be a writing genius or anything like that. I was writing Grants as a teenager. Believe it or not.

So, here are some job opportunities.

  • Common Threads, apply via ZipRecruiter
  • Check out Upwork

I will give this one a 7.5 out of 10 opportunity score because it’s pretty good.

8-  Travel Writer

The following remote job will be a  travel writer, precisely what it sounds like. You will be writing content about traveling, and, in many cases, you will get to travel to the area you’re writing about. So, you might be writing travel guides, blogs, and social media posts that cater to an audience of hungry adventurers. Travel writers make about $52,000 to $94,000 a year. So you must be an excellent writer to get into this and love traveling, which I know many people are out there.

So, here are some job opportunities.

  • Check out Upwork
  • The Travel, apply via LinkedIn

Overall, I will give this one an 8 out of 10 opportunity score. It is a bit competitive because many people want to get into travel writing, but it’s relatively chill once you have some experience. In addition, you get to travel by the way,

If you’ve found this article worthwhile and you think of anyone else out there, maybe a friend, a family member, or someone who needs to get a job, go ahead and share it with them.

9- Email Deliverability Specialist

The following remote job is a super important one, and that is an email deliverability specialist. This is someone who ensures that company emails find their way into people’s inboxes, and believe it or not. Many emails sent out by companies never make it to your inbox because your email provider is very picky about what you see. They don’t want your email getting spammed, and there are certain things you can do as a company.

To increase your deliverability score, AKA make your emails not spammy, and that’s precisely what email deliverability specialists do. Now, if you work for an e-commerce company, for instance, that has millions of subscribers, even just increasing the deliverability score by 5% or 10% might result in millions of dollars of extra revenue over the years. This is why email deliverability specialists make $86,000 to $136,000 a year.

The exciting thing about this is there’s no degree or pathway to get into it. It’s just something that you have to learn. So this is something you can study on your own. Maybe do some freelance work here and there to get some work experience. Then, you can get hired by a company and make a ton of money. So this one is a great opportunity. I know people making a ton of money doing this.

So, here are some job opportunities.

  • SelectFew, apply via WellFound
  • Check out Upwork

I’m going to give it a 9 out of 10 opportunity score.

10- User Experience Researcher

Let’s go on to the following remote job: a user experience researcher. Have you ever wondered how your favorite apps and websites got to be so user-friendly? Some of them are just so intuitive. You know where everything is automatically without having to look up an FAQ or call their customer support, and then other apps and websites you’ve used.

work from home

They are unfriendly, and you must constantly contact customer support or learn how to do anything. Well, chances are the user-friendly websites probably hired some user-experience researchers. User-experience researchers make $95,000 to $145,000 a year. This is the best-paying remote job. This is one of those positions where you don’t need a college degree. You don’t need previous experience. There isn’t a pathway to get into it.

This is why many boot camps and certification programs teach people how to do this. Now, I’m not going to lie to you. This is going to be one of the harder ones to get into. For instance, you have to have a portfolio, but at the same time, it’s a bit more artistic than others. So it probably would be easy for you because you can enjoy it.

So, here are some job opportunities.

  • Highlight Technologies, apply via LinkedIn
  • Common App, apply via LinkedIn
  • OKTA, apply via okta.com/company/careers

So overall, I will give this one a lower score just because it’s harder to get into. I would give it a 6 out of 10, but it could be great for the right person.

11- Royalties Coordinator

The following remote job on the list will be a royalties coordinator. These financial maestros are behind the scenes organizing and managing the intricate process of royalty payments and industries such as music, publishing, and entertainment. This is another one of those jobs without a path to get into it. It would be best if you had no college degree, and it’s relatively simple and easy to do. They make about $42,000 to $61,000 a year.

So, here are some job opportunities.

  • BIOMED CENTRAL LTD, apply via Jooble
  • HYERED apply via LinkedIn

I’ll give this one an opportunity score of 7.5 out of 10.

12- Copyright Assistant

The following remote job on the list will be a copyright assistant. This person manages the world of digital copyrights, from registering works to processing royalties and protecting the creator’s intellectual property. You’d often be browsing the internet, ensuring nobody uses your copyrighted material in this position. They make about $41,000 to $65,000 a year. So yeah, another one that’s relatively easy to get into and also rather chill.

So, here are some job opportunities.

  • FLEX BY FENWICK, apply via Linked
  • NOVALAW, apply via Glassdoor

I’ll give this one an 8 out of 10 opportunity score.

13- Personal Branding Specialist

The following remote job on the list will be a personal branding specialist. They are the architects of personal branding and success, helping individuals and teams craft magnetic brands through thought and digital marketing. It is the story of a lady who switched jobs and made $297,000 in 18 months as a personal brand consultant. But that’s starting a business if you work for a company. Generally, you will make around $48,000 to $80,000 annually.

So, personal brands are precious these days, and if you don’t believe me, think about who has more followers on social media, Elon Musk or Tesla. Elon Musk does, right? That’s the power of a personal brand; helping people craft those private brands that are incredibly powerful can be highly lucrative.

So, here are some job opportunities.

  • FUD, apply via Workable
  • Check out Upwork

I will give this one an opportunity score of 9 out of 10.

14- E-learning Developer

The following remote job on the list will be an e-learning developer. Now, just a bit of a disclaimer about this one: it does involve a little bit of, I guess, you’re going to be using what’s known as articulate, which is a kind of technical software to use. This is one of the more accessible developer roles to get into. This is very similar to instructional design if you’ve heard of that.

This is highly lucrative, especially since the pandemic when much learning went online. This one has been blowing up, and they make about $73,000 to $111,000 a year. So, this one’s a little bit harder to get into. But man, once you get in, you have an outstanding work-life balance, you get paid well,

So, here are some job opportunities.

  • CYBERMEDIA TECHNOLOGIES apply via Indeed
  • Check out Upwork

So, honestly, I’m going to give this one a 9 out of 10 opportunity score.

15- Database Administrator

The following remote job on the list is a database administrator. Now, there are a ton of different database-related jobs. There are database administrators, architects, developers, engineers, etc. All of them are good because data is precious, and you need to be able to store it safely and retrieve it efficiently. It’s just that simple. Now, I have to say this one is a little harder to get into than many of the other ones on the list.

work remotely as a remote jobs

But once you get that job and ensure that you have those necessary skills, you’ll never have to worry about having a job again. It will be a super chill job if you want to be, so database administrators make about $92,000 to $138,000 a year, and database architects make even more.

So, here are some job opportunities.

  • PULIVARTH GROUP apply via Indeed
  • SOFTWARE TECHNOLOGY INC apply via LinkedIn

So yeah, this one is hard to get into. So I can’t score it too high. But yeah, it will be a super chill job if you can do it. Just, you know, put in the work for a year or two, learn it, get your first job, get good at it, and you’re set for life, right? So I will score this one an 8 out of 10 opportunity.

16- Data Processor

The following remote job on the list sounds similar, but it’s pretty different, and that will be a data processor. This person excels in the art and science of organizing, transferring, and processing data for organizations. Your job is to ensure information accuracy, and you’re kind of like a librarian, except instead of collecting books, you will be collecting data. This one is much easier to get into but doesn’t pay nearly as well. It produces around $34,000 to $54,000 a year.

This could be a good entry point if you’re trying to enter the data industry. Get your foot in the door with this job, which is much easier to get into. You don’t need a college degree or previous experience. Then, take some certifications, take some classes, maybe take some Udemy courses to show that you have the skills, maybe take on extra projects, and what do you know, you’ll end up in a higher level data job, making six figures a year. So yeah, this one’s much easier to get into, but probably not something you want to do forever.

So, here are some job opportunities.

  • Alternative Claims Management, apply via Salary
  • Augustana College apply via Talent

I’ll give it an 8 out of 10 opportunity score.

So, I will not lie, and it isn’t exciting. Maybe it is not something you want to do for the rest of your life, but it is relatively easy to land. You don’t need a college degree or previous experience; it is a reasonably chill job that pays well.

Again, it is relatively easy to get into; you don’t need a college degree or previous experience. Usually, it is also rather chill.

How Will You Choose the Best Remote Jobs?

In my opinion, when you choose a job for yourself, you need to consider your interests. If you go with your interests, you will always be successful. All other things are secondary to your education, skill, and experience. When you go with your interest, you become more creative, or your potential is higher than usual. Your best remote job is always the one you choose according to your interests.
